As you know Turkish Culture is very opulent and full of sense 

It’s a big challenge to present it in two hours  but when you try it can be like that …

Typical Turkish welcoming  with traditional clothes , presentation of Balturka , presentation of Turkey ,Turkish hospitality with a demonstration of a coffee preparation  , Traditional celebrations   like henna ,

Turkish art , calligraphy and Turkish music …complete presentation in each field .

To conclude this meeting with a happy and relax ending , Ismet was  shown how to prepare Lentil balls in a carpet in front of  them . Two men came to help him .

During the cooking time , we were dancing some traditional folk dances with few  women , around them .

Lentil balls was served with cabbage , lemon , tomatoes  cucumber and Ayran .

 ( Ayran is a king of liquid salt yoghurt . )

Degustation time is a friendly atmosphere where people can share opinions , ask more details and to give our contacts…..

At this time , we are planning differents cultural seminars in cooperation with various ambassies .

To know each other better allows to not be affraid  each other . It's a step to fight against racism , xenophobia....

We are arranging 3 seminars per month . Each time one different culture of course . 

This seminar have a duration of 1 hour and after 30 minutes for discussion .

The first will be soon with Japanes !!

New challenge ....4 days to visit Riga ( capital of Letonia) and Talin (capital of Estonia ) with Goshia ( polish ) and Ece ( from Turkey)!!!

Impressions about Riga : Very nice city ...well , quite similar with Vilnius but with more space , squars , parks in city and a pretty old town !

We were noticed directly that Letonian people's are more open than Lithuanien ! You can see on street people with red hair ...more colorfull and joyfull !!!

We have also seen one of the biggest Humana which can exist ( a shop with segond hand clothes )....amazing !!! Lot of choice and some happy hour ...strange to buy clothes but why not!!

So we spent just one day in Riga and after direction Talinn....

Big feeling with Talinn !!The  Balcan's atmosphere is here but with a touch of mediaval .

First of all,l the town has hills so you can enjoy gorgeous views from differents platforms .

The old town is full of souvenir shops for tourists but there are really narrow cute streets with some art street if you have good eyes !!

After 15 minuts walking you can enjoy fresh baltic sea ... we put our foots !!

Very quiet and relaxing time , out of the city !The city has also lot of garden !But in March we couldn't really see green space !

Estonian people are very slow

Estonian people use EURO !!!

Estonian people are really cold , more than Lithuanian

Estonian people are independant

Estonian people are an half million in their country and they have a really fun language !!

Estonian people have really bad roads!!

Balturka organises differents programs .Every week we have almost 3 programs . It can be cinema night , reading club , cook lesson , turkish dance , karaoke....

So i will to present one session of karaoke.

 We began during afternoon ...to looking for good songs ,to  check if the microphone is working , material's instalation!!!

We proposed turkish songs , lithuanian song and i brought my french touch with some french songs !!!

Welcome in International Meridian school ! 

Students are dressed with uniforms and they have full of interesting classes like mine .....hahahHA

It's really a great school , with lot of pedagogical materials .I was astonished by the interactif board close to the traditional board .

 Why i went there ?

Because the french teacher left to Paris for some days and i took her role .

I shown a short cultural French presentation and after i proposed them a game in order to pratice and to learn new vocabulary in an informal way .It's a simple game with a die . For each number , you have a different action like french song , draws , plasticine , french dialogue ....

At the end i gave an evaluation in order to check if they could remind something about my intervention .....

 POSITIF result .....

Everybody learnt'' soeur'' and ''frere '' , everyone want to visit Eiffel tower , now they know the 3 French main cities and the most important thing that they spent good time too .

It was a pleasant time with this interesting and smily children .
